General Jackson Showboat Dinner, Show and Cruise
Named after the original 1817 riverboat honoring Andrew Jackson, today's General Jackson was launched in 1985 as an attraction at Opryland USA Theme Park. When the park closed in 1997, The General Jackson remained in service as a sightseeing, entertainment, and dining vessel cruising the Cumberland River. With a capacity of 1,200 passengers, General Jackson Showboat's "A Country Christmas on the Cumberland" promises a one-of-a-kind holiday experience. Enjoy a three-course dinner with salad, Prime Rib, and dessert before watching the talented cast perform heart-warming holiday favorites.
